About Us
I was inspired to start an NFP to support other children and young people who are within the community and need that little extra support. Having someone understand your struggles can make things a little easier for you and your family. You're a Star is a safe place for all vulnerable children and young people and will never turn anyone away, they will have the ability to connect with others, seek assistance with anything they need, or just sit and chat with someone. In the future we will be offering WORKSHOPS that will help our youth with the basic skills they will need as THEY move into adulthood and FORM an independent life for themselves, our workshops will range from Budgeting, Job seeking, AND cooking, we will also offer a variety of “fun” group activities like art therapy and peer mentoring and they will also be allowed to share their skills with others.
We do not forget our little people; So our future plans include them having the option of attending playgroup, chill-out days, AND outings, as well as having the ability to access the support they require, whether it be extra assistance with SCHOOL work, somewhere to hang out and form friendships, learn new skills.
A LOT of the ACTIVITIES that will be on offer can be completed within the home, as they will be created and packed at a budget-friendly price so all our members can utilise our resources.
Our mission is to foster a love of learning in your little ones, through creative lesson plans and prompts.

WE HAVE SOME COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO ARE REQUESTING ASSISTANCE WITH GETTING READY TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL. WE ARE SEEKING DONATIONS OF EXCESS STATIONARY, SCHOOL BAGS, LUNCH BOXES ETC
WE ARE LOOKING TO ORGANISING A REGULAR CATCH-UP MORNING FOR NEW MUMS OR FAMILIES THAT ARE STRUGGLING TO MEET NEW PEOPLE - THIS WILL INCUR A GOLD COIN DONATION
WE WILL ALSO BE ADDING A VARIETY OF MERCHANDISE TO OUR NEWLY BUILT BUDGET-FRIENDLY STORE
NEW PRODUCTS. PRODUCTS WILL BE OFFERED THROUGH A SUBSCRIPTION SYSTEM WITH A MONTHLY FEE OF $5. EACH BOX WILL BE DIFFERENT AND WILL BE AGE-APPROPRIATE.
WE WILL ALSO OPEN UP OUR GROUP FOR NEW TWEENS AND TEENS TO JOIN AND MEET OTHER LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE.
OUR FINAL PROGRAM TO BE ADDED THIS YEAR WITH BE A MENTOR PROGRAM, WE MATCH A TEEN WITH A YOUNG CHILD,
